Story mode: R-7

A maintenance robot wakes up in a flooded robotics lab with almost nothing working. Every mission you solve repairs a part, and every part unlocks new code you can use.

A dark, flooded lab corridor in red and cyan emergency light, with a hazard-striped security door and a glowing yellow charging dock at the far end.

R-7 wakes up in a flooded, pitch-dark lab with almost nothing working. Get it moving again.

  1. 1Crawl to the chargerNo sensors, no steering, and a door on a timer. Time your moves to reach the dock.
  2. 2Which way is north?Steering and odometry are back. Visit two stations and return to the dock.
  3. 3Blind in the darkThe lights are out and the shelves have moved. Feel your way to the spare charger.
  4. 4Running on fumesThe battery monitor works again, and it says you won't make it. Plan your charging stops.
The lab's east wing as the ceiling lights come back on: tall shelves of parts bins, a workbench with a disassembled robot gripper, and cyan laser-scan lines sweeping the room.

Find your camera, map the east wing, and get a gripper working.

Morning sunbeams through tall windows over a storeroom being tidied: stacks of boxes, red, blue and yellow parts bins, a conveyor belt and a small cleaning robot.

Clean the floor, restock the shelves, and outsmart a rogue vacuum robot.

A foggy basement under a burst steam pipe, where three beacon lights, cyan, yellow and violet, glow at different distances over a wet floor.

Noisy sensors and a slippery floor: work out where R-7 really is.

A repair bay under warm hanging lamps, where four powered-down service robots, orange, green, grey and yellow, rest on charging pads.

Wake the lab's other robots and get them working as a team.

The lab's loading door rolled open at sunrise onto a green courtyard, with a glowing guide line leading outside past a folded robot arm and its charger.

Leave the grid behind: smooth driving, PID control and a robot arm.
